"Mutant like you? What do you mean?" Melody blinks

“Nevermind, it doesn’t matter.” *Fenwick says.*

"Because of your mother right? Well I wouldn't consider you different." Melody smiled. "I mean I bleed purple."

“I said it doesn’t matter.” *Fenwick snaps back.*

"Easy.." Melody frowns. "Didn't mean anything like that."

“Just drop it.” *Fenwick says.*

"Why don't we stop for coffee? I could use a quick bite." Melody smiles. "My treat?"

*Fenwick looks away and shoves his hands into his pockets.* “Sure. If you’re paying.”

"Great! My favourite coffee shop is just down here! Has my favourite marshmallow treat!" Melody smiled as she headed down the street to the coffee shop.

*The wind is coming from behind them, so as Fenwick follows from behind Melody, the embers coming off him will sometimes float past her into her field of vision. He walks in silence.*

Melody watches them float around. "My mom says I have a bad habit of eating marshmallows like my dad. " Melody giggles. As she enters. "What would you like?"

“Coffee. Black.” *Theres a long pause.* “Uh...please.”

Melody nods and orders two black coffee's and a marshmallow treat for her self. "Howcome you are so quiet?"

“I’m not being...particularly different.” *Fenwick says.*

"You talked more at the party. Well the little bit of chance I got to talk you." Melody sips on her coffee sitting down.

*Fenwick takes the coffee and sips.* “Oh Uh...I don’t know.” *A couple behind them give Fenwick a dirty look as one of his embers float into the Man’s drink. Fenwick lowers his head in shame.*

Melody frowns at the man. "Hey I know somewhere." Melody grabs his wrist. "Come on." Melody smiled.

*Fenwick looks down at her hand.* “Er...okay.”

Melody stuffed her mouth and had her coffee in her other hand as she lead him out to the lake "it's much quieter out here."

“I don’t like bothering people with my uh-“ *Fenwick catches an ember.* “Some days it doesn’t even happen. Other days are really bad. Like today.”

"I think it's cool regardless." Melody shrugs she starts to take her boots off

“It’s really embarrassing.” *Fenwick frowns.* “I’m a walking candle. Drawing so much attention to myself.”

Melody frowns. "Well I think you are very sweet." She smiles. "Your brother is....different."

“Don’t talk shit about my brother in front of me.” *Fenwick says.* “He’s a dumbass yeah, but he’s my brother and I love him.” *More embers are dispelled from his hair.*

"I wasn't saying anything like that!" Melody shakes her head. "I just mean you and him are different from each other." Melody frowns.
