Melody blinks after hearing what Tamiko said. "Guild life? It's fun I guess." Melody frowns.

Fenwick lets out a long groan of annoyance. What a pain it would be if he had to go.

Orion had a sly grin on his face as AJ spoke. "I will be sending Orion, Washington, Rosemary, and Fenwick. Return safe you four. And as well as Tamiko." AJ gave a nod to all of them.

"Damn it." Fenwick mutters under his breath. Surrounded by those assholes. He walks over to AJ. "Hey uh, do you have a minute?"

Atticus turns to Melody. “No, being able to feel others magic energy.”

"Yes sweetie?" AJ asks. //Melody blinks. "It's actually pretty cool. I never really thought of it. I only really focus it on my family. Especially my little brothers."

Fenwick curls his lips in. She better not call him sweetie again. "Why did you pick me, of all the members, me?"

AJ smiles "you're stronger than most know. More than you know. You are a slayer just like your mother. I know you can be strong. I see the potential."

Atticus watches his brother from a distance. “Bet you he’s hitting on her again.” He says, seeming to not have paid attention to what Melody said.

Melody rolls her eyes "He doesn't have a chance in hell."

“He’ll keep trying. He’s stubborn as fuck but he’s such a sad piece of shit.” He says. “It’s almost annoying.”

"Look, that's not the issue here. How long is this going to take? I don't really want to be out there for like, a week." Fenwick frowns.

"Why is that? Not a fan of your partners?" AJ raised an eyebrow.//"but why? What's the point?" Melody asks

"That, and...nevermind. I'll deal with it." Fenwick shakes his head and walks away from AJ.

“Probably bragging rights if he ever gets with her. But..she’s literally...more than half his age.” Atticus squeezes the bridge of his nose.

"I mean she looks way younger though." Melody shrugs

“Nah, I mean. She doesnt look 60. Maybe late 40s. But still, she’s three times his age.” Atticus says. “Unless you support something like that.” He snorts.

Fenwick storms up to Atticus and Melody, then points at his ear. “I’m a dragon slayer.”

Melody laughs. "We aren't wrong though!"

“You mean Grandma pussy slayer.” Atticus blinks up at him. “And I thought dragon slayers had good sense of smell not hearing.”

“No, but maybe keep your thoughts to yourselves.” Fenwick snarls.

“Or you can keep your dick in your pants and stop waving it in AJs face, she literally wiped our asses when we had diapers and Mom and Dad had date night at their sex watermelon patch.” He retorts

“Atticus I will burn you alive and there’s nothing you can do about it, watch your smug little mouth.” Fenwick clenches his teeth.

Atticus frowns. “What infront of all these people?” He lets out a sarcastic laugh. “I’ll give you 5 bucks if you even try.”

Embers start generously floating off from Fenwick’s head as a visual display of his frustration, not that he can control it. “I don’t care about this guild. I don’t care about these people, or what they think.”
