“Iiiii-I...I think I need to go. I need to go. I totally need to go like right now.” Scott curls his lip in. What could she POSSIBLY be doing here?

She grimaces and slowly crouches down to scoot underneath the table. This can't be happening, not now. Aziraphale peers out from underneath the table, her left ear twitching and her tail wrapped around her right leg. Oh shit. The both of them are there.

“What? Are you okay?” He looks over to Aziraphale. His eyes squint and his shoulders tense. A new person but no new vision? He’s met her before...but where?

“Someone...who stole from me...a conman...is here.” Scott’s bewildered look doesn’t leave his face. “I thought she was gone.” Scott looks towards a few other members. “Go distract her or something! I need to get my money from the guild master!”

Her eyes widen as Chris spots her. She turns so her back is to them and slowly starts to crawl out from under the table and away from them. "No no no no no." She mumbles under her breath. "He's rarely at the guild, so why now!?"

“I uhm.. don’t know if I can.” Chris mumbles

“Dude, I know all you do is favours for me but this one is most important.” Scott slips his hands in his pockets. “I’ll owe you BIG time.”

She glances back at the two boys as she crawls towards the bathroom. If she gets there, she can disappear and not have to deal with either of them any more. A small whine escapes her throat as she thinks about her predicament.

“Alright, okay. Shit.” He begins to trot over to her, “Excuse me.”

Scott wanders off to find the guild master, still looking absolutely befuddled.

Aziraphale freezes once more and turns back to look at Chris with her large doe-eyes. "uh-uhm.....Hi, Chris."

Chris crosses his arms. So they so know eachother. “Do you need help getting up?” He says, crouching. “Are you hurt?” // Fredrick is standing tall, speaking with some town officials, but the conversation doesn’t seem to be important. He’s holding a glass of red wine, which moves wildly as he talks, but the liquid inside stays neatly level.

Scott meanders over to Fredrick and gives him a goofy wave to indicate he intends to talk to him.

Fredrick smiles and gives a single finger to the men he’s talking to, who look very unhappy and displeased. “I must tend to my child.” He gives a giggle, then turns to Scott. “Rise and Shine, lovely! Long time no see Scotty! How may I help you dearest one~?”

“Woah uh...” Scott scratches the back of his head. “I’m here for my pay? Last job, it was like...not a lot but...I kinda need it.”

Fredrick blinks, but the smile stays as he thinks for a moment. He leans back up and taps the ring on his wine glass. “Well..it appears you’ve misunderstood the way things work around here, hun bun!” He smiles.

“What? What do you mean? I did the job...a while ago...but I did it! I need money for lunch!” Scott feels around his pockets to confirm he has no money.

“Sweetie, we don’t pay you the money.” He giggles. “The people who provide the advertisements pay you the money!”

“Are...are you sayin I got tricked into essentially slave labour?” Scott squints his eyes.

“Did you RETRIEVE the money after this job?” Fredrick tilts his head, taking a sip of his glass.

“Uh...like go and talk to the lady who gave it to me?” Scott rubs his chin. “Well I cut their grass and then her husband gave my lemonade.”

“Wait, pause, rewind, dear.” Fredrick let’s go of the glass and it floats where he let go. He pulls a chair over with his foot. He sits down on it, backwards, and rests his arms on the back, a fist supporting his head. He gazes up at Scott. “Tell me the whole story, did you get the job from the big brown board, over there?”

“Yeah yeah, it was like come join our lawn cutting gang, so I went over there and they gave me a mower and told me to go cut this lawn.” Scott pauses and thinks. “That...was totally an advertisement for a mowing company wasn’t it.”

Fredrick giggles, resting his cheek in an open hand. “It appears you joined a full time job, for..one time.” He shuts his eyes to think for a moment. “Perhaps talking about payment, before you do the job, is a good lesson to live by, yes?”

“Damn it.” Scott sighs. “Tricked again I guess.” He glances back towards his friend and not so much a friend. “So uh...Azy-...uh...I mean...Aziraphale is back...?”
