“Scotty!” A voice calls out from a small room, the smell of weed filling anyone’s nostrils as the door opens. A tall man with long flowly strawberry blonde hair steps out. “I rolled the last one, if you’re interested.” He speaks.

From a sprawl of blankets laying over a mattress on the floor, a voice responds. “Mmmmumbghgh.” The sleep still deep in the throat of Scott, his mess of unkempt light brown hair staring back at his roommate. He flips his pillow to the cool side and lays his head back down.

“Scotty! It’s like 2 in the afternoon.” He says in distraught, he begins to prod Scotty’s hip with his big toe.

Scott slowly slumps up and glances over at Chris, rubbing his eyes. “No way it’s like-“ Scott looks at the clock on his wall. “2:00 PM.” He shakes his head and looks back at Chris. “I...totally...knew that.”

Chris plops himself down on the bed, staring at the clock. “You’re a bump on a log.”

“I resent that.” Scott grabs the t-shirt on the mattress next to him and slips it over his head. “You’re like a...totally good friend who’s going to cover my rent this month?” Scott flashes him a knowing smile.

Chris looks over to him. “Well, wouldn’t be as much fun hearing your snores keeping me awake at night, now would it?

Aziraphale's bare feet pitter patter up the guild steps and she walks inside. The smell of sweat and booze hits her like a brick, but the foul smell always does. It's been a while since she's been here, almost a year maybe, but it feels great to be home, no matter how tired she is.

“I’m the rock in your life bud.” Scott groans. “I hate to turn down such a generous offer, but I should go to the guild. I have money waiting for me and I need to eat somehow.”

(Im assuming you want Fredrick @ Hani) “if you have money, why do I have to pay your rent?” He squints his eyes

“Enough for food, not enough for rent, guy.” Scott grins as he slowly rises from bed and gathers clothes off the floor.

Aziraphale scans the guild, looking for her guild master. Where is he anyways?

(Nvm we will bring the party to u) “Well, I need to go to the guild anyway.” He says.

“Sweet!” Scott vanishes into the bathroom. He comes out minutes later fresh and ready to go. “Move it or lose it pal!” He motions towards the door.

Chris sighs and opens the door, the fresh air filling his nostrils. The town is busy and the sun glares down on them. “Thought it was suppose to rain.”

“Don’t say that or it’ll absolutely rain.” Scott says, starting off towards the guild. “Man I haven’t been to the guild in like a week. It’s kinda a job yeah? So I kinda don’t go.”

“When do you plan on actually, like, growing up a little bit?” Chris smirks

“I’m SO grown up! I’m a fully functional adult!” Scott pouts as he heads up the steps to the guild.

“Fully functional is a bit of an overstatement.” He mutters and follows him hp

“Hey you keep me around for a reason.” Scott pushes the door open and steps inside.

“For amusement purposes only.” He chuckles

“See? I knew you loved me.” Scott takes one step before his eyes widen, his teeth grit, and his big dumb smile fades.

Aziraphale walks over to one of the tables and is about to sit down when the hair on her tail and neck stand up straight. She freezes and looks toward the door as her face goes blank with a pink tinge.

Chris smiles. “Of course I love you.” He has yet to notice Aziraphale as the smell of beer fills his nose,
